The home design, approached with research in the historical context, results in a new-classic style with quality washed wooden boards and resin/terracotta floors. Vaulted wood-beamed ceilings lend a rustic yet contemporary feel to the interiors. Elements of classic Tuscan grand residential architecture, such as a silhouette defined by clear, square blocks, are combined with contemporary touches, like an open space gym with views over the surrounding valley. Aesthetically, the house recalls traditional typologies as well as traditional materials including marble, cotto and stone locally sourced.
